    2.Receive your License Key by email

    Your order confirmation email contains the License Key bound to your purchase. Copy it — you will paste it into the app in the next step. Keep the email; it is your proof of purchase.

    3.Activate inside the app — offline

    Open LocalScribe → Settings → License, paste the key and press Activate. The app verifies it locally with a built-in public key (cryptographic ES256 signature). No account, no phone-home, no server call.

Common questions

Do I need to stay online after activating?
No. The key is a cryptographically signed token the app verifies with its built-in public key. You can fly, unplug your Ethernet, or put the Mac in a faraday bag — LocalScribe keeps working.
Can I move the license to another Mac?
Yes — a lifetime license covers machines you own. Deactivate in the old app, activate on the new one; if you get stuck, write to us.
