Is it really offline?+

Yes. Every model — Whisper for transcription, Phi-3.5 for rewriting, the OCR and diarization engines — runs locally on your Mac via Metal. After installation you can fly with Wi-Fi off, in a Faraday room, on an air-gapped network. The app makes zero network requests at runtime.

Can my data ever be uploaded?+

There is no upload path in the code: no account, no telemetry, no cloud sync. Don’t take our word for it — block the app with your firewall (LuLu, Little Snitch) or run in Airplane Mode. It keeps working. Nothing tries to connect.

Which Macs are supported?+

Apple Silicon (M1 and later) is fully supported with Metal acceleration. Intel Mac support is on the roadmap. 16 GB RAM recommended for the full AI pipeline; 8 GB works for transcription and document tools.
